Snow Dallas 2005

They have talked about it snowing here for a little while and the temperture has steadily dropped for that last few days so it was only a matter of time. Of course they are all used to it here, but for a NOLA girl like me. So of course I am running around outside when it first started trying to take pictures. One thing that does not work, you cannot wear big chunky shoes in this weather you need something with grip not something that makes you 2" taller. So I wiped out. Whatever.

This was the front door.

This was a water fountain, but it froze solid.

Just Brakes, Dallas, 2005

The Si needed a brake adjustment some kind of bad so we took it here. The guy working the counter gave us the heads up about all local illegal racing. There are three Skylines in the area, all right hand drive. Two are owned by a dyno shop. They are sponsored race cars. Crazy! He told us about the whole break tag situation out here and what to do to get around it. It was easier and cheaper to drive to St. Bernard.

The Beginning of Christmas, Dallas, 2005
