My visit to Lafayette on a rainy Tuesday. Beautifully historic...

This is the first year that Deutsches Haus has not had the festival on their grounds in New Orleans. We had to check it out. Great food!

My mom thought this would be a good idea. However I don't think that I can be helped. regardless, the experience was wonderful. Michael W. DeVidts is awesome! I loved his approach of the history of food in New Orleans. I bet he would give great lectures for other events in history! I would sign up!

Never actually went to one before but a group of us got together to go...

Over the years the actual day has changed. But I always make point of getting together with a group of friends and dedicating that time specifically to them. Its always an adventure.

I did it. I graduated college, Applied Science in Graphic Design. Mom Dad, I hope you are proud. It took a lot to get here!

Jason Delormier left to move to Mississippi so when we heard he would be making a reappearance, there was no denying it. It was party time.

Mike had told me about this event and at first I didn't think anything of it. But I went online and read reviews I had to go. Then I had to drag others. Basically you buy a ticket and this allows you to try anything from any resturaunt on the roster and all the drinks are included too.

Jason loves the movie Midnight Madness. While we couldn't produce the movie in perfect symmetry, we tried out best.

One Eyes Jack's has or had (IDK) 80's night. We didn't dress up. There were times when we saw many stars, James Franco and Greg Dulli. It was fun!

I had worked all day and I still needed to do Lindsay's makeup that night. Once all that was done we pretty much do what we always do. I was supposed to do a mask on Delo but I ran out of time and I forgot to buy the airbrush white makeup. It would have been great too!

Jason looking up Chuck Norris 'facts'. See the video here.

Becca wanted to go to the Tanger outlet, she lived in Gonzalez at the time and we met her out there.

Dustin had to be born on Friday the 13th. Had to, as if he isn't strange enough to begin with. This was his birthday adventure spent in New Orleans, at Pal's his favorite hangout. We had been there only a couple times before the storm and this bar was one of the few that were to reopen quickly and stay open past midnight post katrina.

This was my return to NOLA the way I remembered it. I hung out with Pre-Katrina friends, none of which are around anymore. Dinner with the family too.

I don't remember what nights these were. We spent so much time there. Amanda found out from the owner she is not coming back after Katrina. What once was.......is no longer.

This was the brainchild of Stephen LaVie (DJ Kise) and Dj Nine Lives. They were a lot of fun. I met some crazy people and took pictures of it all. I wanted to post them but decided against it. Below are the flyers (the purple one is the photo I took) and a picture of me, Alisha and Rieco from the first event.

this was the place to be if you were a local band in St. Bernard Parish. I don't know when this image was taken or why but it was one of the memorable nights there.
