1822 Schnell Drive, Arabi, LA 70032 We purchased the house 10/20/2004. It was great for the most part. Everything we owned broke and we had to replace it. We thought we woul spend forever here, well forever came so soon. I hate to hear people bitch about Katrina who never had any damage, or the lives that were unaffected by the storm. I could very well gladly switch with you. |

1822 Schnell Dr - Post-Katrina Until you have a house and have it go through this its hard to truely sympathize. Being a renter and losing everything is not the same. I had planned on spending my life here, having paid for, doing whatever I wanted and most of all being in St. Bernard Parish. These pictures are 14ft of water, not 6 and not 8 like most people think Arabi recieved. |

1822 Schnell Dr - Demolition 06/09/06 No one ever called to tell us. It just so happened that a good nick m=named friend of mine was staying in St. Bernard and passed by and the bulldozer were out front. We went out there the next day and there they were about to start. The guy were nice and offfered sympathies. But what can you possibly say to make someone feel better? I only made it through two rooms and went back to the apt. |

My Return - 01:20:09 I had some time and figured there had been enough time. Notice blue the sky was that day! My ducks were still there wandering in the back by the canal. I looked for Mr. Jones, the turtle that kept hanging out in our back yard but nowhere could I find him. Plus I didn't have that much time. |
