What to do?

I need some Mable's House help here. I don't know what to do here. I was going to get another desk but what would that solve? Help!

I had ordered this a long time ago and finally got it!

This was at the place I bought it.

If you touch the top right hinge the lights come on in three levels.

This is where I spend most of my time. I hang out here doing this website and some freelance stuff and the Jiff comes with me. When friends come over and its nice outside we come here. Just about any night of the week you can find Jason and I playing Mac batleship here.

I thought thsi was going to be easy. Then I saw what it was that my Mom wanted to do, plus it was the right thing to do for less work later. We weeded the beds, removed a large portion of the mudd and placed this black fabric like material. We put te mudd back, well 25% of it back. Planted what you see. Everything that could hurt Monday morning did hurt! I don't know that I could do this again. I might have to pay someone.

Jason gave me a signed print of Terrence Osbourne, who I love! So I had to get it framed. Then Don's dad saw it and gave me another one. So I have two, but only one is signed by him.

I bought this since spring will be upon us very soon.

And a rain meter to match the color. I have a bird feeder but I haven't taken flicks yet.

So we did it all over again. We bought another house and are in the process of making it ours. Its a big place much bigger than the Schnell house.

Don was so paranoid about that 90 ft tree falling on the house during another Katrina type event. So he made me get rid of my tree. I liked it.

We have started doing some things to the house. Nothing major but we had to change things to make it more about us!

We had left over stuff people had given us since the storm. Time to get real furniture.

The hallway bath close tothe master needed some help! So we changed it. There are still some changes that need to be made but this is where we are at now.

He is making his way down the hallway too.

Don hated the blue with the tile. I didn't really care. I was going to do that blue and chocolate which is really popular right now. Instead he decided he had to paint. So several spills and wipes later, the room became...safari..sundeck...IDK. They painted so many samples I have no idea so we will say classic beige.

The old blue duck wallpaper and border had to go. It was looking very 90's kitchen. I just couldn't handle it!

So we paint again...

Green again!

This is where the magic of this website stakes place. I say that but most of the time I am updating on my laptop outside or at PJ's Coffee. I have ordered furniture and everything about a month ago (Jan '09) and we are still waiting (March '09). I wanted a very retro room but for now I have this. I like it even though the book shelf needs expanding. It barely holds anything. Plus I want a library, not a living room.

I have no idea why I put that chili pepper thing in there. Sylvia gave it to me and I never noticed that I sat it there and it never moved until I took these pictures. That goes in the kitchen! If you look at the cork board, there is Clive Owen peeking out. That's my other boyfriend!

The black circle things on the wall are place settings I got from Pier 1. They were metal and I fugured it would be better decor.

I wanted all yellow accents. Can you see the mats are all yellow in different designs.
