Maybe not an assassin but in the movie he kills as if he is. The mission is clear and no surprises in the plot. However Liam Neeson's delievery is nothing short of entertaining, which isn't that the job itself?
I love him. He can make anything into a weapon, bomb, etc. He is like the Martha Stewart of spies, or ex-spies in his case.
Well known, well rounded character, but he came from a novel so it is expected for him to be complete. Skilled training and probably the most convincing.
Okay I don't really know if this counts since he is retired but its Clive so get over it. Strange movie. He doesn't actually kill until the end but he is forced do by injustices done to his brother. They are gruesome. The bad guy in the film is the lead from Clockwork Orange. No one plays a bad guy like Clive Owen.
Yeah, I know its cheesy, but Cusak exudes something cool as an assassin with a soft spot for his girl. His delivery is more of a B movie style but the film wasn't meant to be a serious drama. My favorite line... "Who are you Sargeant Pepper?"
Not a big fan of Tarantino but he chooses a well rounded cast. Uma Thurman is not someone I would think capable of this role, but she does well under his direction.
He is just so smooth about it and well not a very good assassin. I think of his character as more of a comic relief to assassins.
Female assassin at its best. Her training , her name every detail perfectly placed for a balanced look at female assassins.
The best played assassin to date. He is great in the role and training Natalie Portman as a child assassin is crazy.
I don't like Brad Pitt but he convinced me. The film as a whole is decent and I think Robert Redford has a great role in this film.
He plays an assassin sort of in this series of films with two seasons. They are short films. Try ebay for the DVD containing all episodes. They have since made the website defunct. They are great at getting the plot across in a short amount of time. His driving skills are perfect, of course it is still a film. His character here is what Transporter's Frank Martin is based
This is an honorable mention. His driving is unserpassed by any other film, or at least ones that I have seen. Great hand to hand combat but no real skills at being invisible. If he was the movies ouldn't exist.
Jason Statham reprises his roll as Frank Martin (based off the above BMW films from Clive BTW.) in a superbowl commercial for Audi. Must See!
